 LUNCH One of our favourite restaurants over the years  but I am afraid it is slipping. The Karaage Chicken Burger $28 was woeful, no texture, no taste and an awful bun.   Battered Fish & Chips $28 One of the most consistently good fish & chips in Port Douglas Earlier this year I voted it 8.9 out of 10 (there has never been a 9 out of 10) and this time it dropped to a 7, just slightly overcooked. The drinks This has not been as straight forward as it should be, now and in the past. A beer, glass of red, a bottle of white and 2 glasses. This time we ended up with an extra glass of white?  To make the staff member feel better, I apologised  and just paid the bill. We did not take the extra glass of white but were billed an extra $4? $40 So, when we feel like spending $117 on lunch again  we will give some extra thought as to where that will be? Both meals were excellent and a good choice of fish, forget the " reef fish " you see on some menus and go for Spanish Mackerel or Barramundi up here.
