Confused? Me too.

Sassi's Cucina 4 Macrossan Street Sassi's has been one of our favourite restaurants for some time. What is confusing though is most of it is on the footpath and there are two parts? One part is the restaurant and one part is the "I don't know". At one part you can buy a carafe of house wine and the other part you can't have house wine unless it is in a glass and part of a special. All this on the public footpath? The food was good: The confusion at the till wasn't. Trying to make our visitors more comfortable. .

STAR of SIAM, 12 Macrossan Street Port Douglas

BYO As Port Douglas frequent diners we are on the lookout for value. BYO, Bring Your Own wine, beer or spirits is not overdone in Port Douglas  and that is a pity because it can cut your dining bill in half. The service in the Star of Siam is provided by people deeply connected with the restaurant. Our Thai hostess had us seated in moments with white wine glasses and an ice bucket  for our BYO white wine. That was an excellent start and I am not sure that any restaurant in Port Douglas could match it. We had some Salt & Pepper Squid, Mongolian Beef and deep fried King Prawns for Lunch and absolutely loved it. This Restaurant stacks up well with any other eatery in Port Douglas Our Bill $57 Where is it? 12 Macrossan Street Port Douglas Phone: 4099 6912 Keeping our diners happy.
