Exchange Hotel - Mossman

JUICY STEAKS

It has been a while since we have dined at the Exchange Hotel in Mossman but I remember it for its juicy steaks. We went on a Monday lunch time and found it was very popular. You can dine in the bar, the Blue Moon Bistro or outside near the pool.

The steaks are still juicy. I had a Porterhouse medium rare with a mushroom gravy and it was superb. Denise had the steak sandwich and found it good also.

There is a lot to like about this place. The steak came out medium rare exactly as I ordered it. I have been disappointed with other restaurants because not many can get it right like the Exchange Hotel can.
The staff here are on the ball. After a lot of dining in Port Douglas the difference with wait staff between the Exchange Hotel and Port Douglas is palpable.
