RESTAURANT IN THE REEF at Reef Resort Villas, 121 - 137 Port Douglas Road, Port Douglas

LUNCH FISH & CHIPS Battered Barramundi, chips, green salad, lemon & tartare $26 CAJUN CHICKEN SALAD Cajun Chicken, mixed greens, tomato, cucumber, onion, potato crisps, sweet soy mayo. $25 Add Avo $5 Washed down with a Super Crisp tin $9, a bottle of Queen Snapper 2025 Sauvignon Blanc $40 (10% discount on drinks for Reef Resort residents.) Both meals were excellent and a good choice of fish, forget the " reef fish " you see on some menus and go for Spanish Mackerel or Barramundi up here.

Oak & Vine at Oaks Resort

We hoped to redeem this offer at lunch on Monday 8 June 2026. It was not to be, the promotion is only available at Dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. No matter we had lunch: Battered Flathead, chips and salad: $34 Beef and Bacon Burger:  $25 Washed down by a glass of Shiraz; $9 and a bottle of Pinot Grigio; $51 Lunch was good but complicated. We had to order from the pool bar and then move up to the Oak & Vine restaurant to use glasses instead of plastic for the wines. Lunch was delivered promptly from the other restaurant, the Lillypad, which was not open, by the pool attendant, because the Oak & Vine was also not open? Clearly displayed.

Lunch at the Tin Shed top deck

Dickson's Inlet from the outside deck. The Tin Shed Burger $23 member. $27 visitor. Battered Mackerel with chips and salad $31 member. $36 visitor. The Tin Shed in Wharf Street is a favourite with locals and visitors alike.  Drinks are competitively priced for instance; Rothbury Estate Semillion Sauvignon Blanc bottle is $28 and Great Northern Super Crisp $6.20
