The shopping centre houses Coles Deli, Malone's Butchery and Dominos Pizza.

The parks house picnic tables and at Rex Smeal Park 2 free electric Bar-B-Q's mind you the barbies might need cleaning depending on what time you use them and what day you go there.

They are cleaned by council early in the morning on week days.

Lunch at the Tin Shed With probably one of the best outlooks of any restaurant in Port Douglas the "Tin Shed" benefits from the new parklands at the waterfront created when the old buildings were demolished in 2012/3. 1 Jul 14. Meals were OK but lack the touches of a truly fine meal. Reasonably priced Chardonay at $23.50, light beer schooner at $4.60, Calamari with salad $14 and Beefburger & chips $15.50.
