What a wonderful place to watch the people go by on a day when Macrossan Street was buzzing with activity.

We are not into the tourist season proper and yet there were lots of people enjoying the various dining experiences on offer in Macrossan Street. All this was on a Tuesday on a not brilliant day with the odd shower and lots of wind.

Choochooz at the Marina

  This is our first review since Covid and typically we have chosen "Fish and Chips" and a Beef Burger.  Not always but very often.  As a retired couple we dine out at lunch at least once a week. Choochooz did not  disappoint; the burger was good and the fish and chips equally as good. Super Crisp stubby - $9.00 Little Angels Sauvignon Blanc bottle - $45 Bosworth Pinot Noir glass - $11.00 Angus Burger - $25 Battered Mackerel & Chips - $35 Payment surcharge - $1.50 Total - $126.50

Not only that Dave provides table service which is handy if you like your fish fillets grilled.
