Under Wraps is a hive of activity around meal times.  You can dine right on the street and watch the world go by. At breakfast this Sunday Morning we had the special breakfast wrap and a breakfast baguette with a delicious energy boost drink - $22.50 (One indicator of a of a great eatery is the patronage of locals and they eat there all the time.) The menu is more extensive that the name suggests. .

Seafood at Palmer Sea Reef A hidden Gem provided you don't play golf and then you would know all about it. To us it was another world, an almost old fashioned world and lots of space. The outlook over the greens is expansive adding to the spacious and timeless feel.  The vista allows you to feel you could be at the High Commissioner's residence in Malaysia. Fish & Chips at Dave's Takeaway This little Cafe at 35 Macrossan Street powers along with a very comprehensive menu. Not only that Dave provides table service which is handy if you like your fish fillets grilled. Dave's reasonably priced Menu includes: Ice cold drinks, Roast meals, Hamburgers, Hot rolls, Fresh salads, Fish, Chips and a variety of chicken dishes. Lunch at the Tin Shed With probably one of the best outlooks of any restaurant in Port Douglas the "Tin Shed" benefits from the new parklands at the waterfront created when the old buildings were demolished in 2012/3.  1 Jul 14. Meals were OK but lack the touches of a truly fine meal. Reasonably priced Chardonay at $23.50, light beer schooner at $4.60, Calamari with salad $14 and Beefburger & chips $15.50.
